Inauguration of Indian Overseas Bank, Hindustan University

Indian Overseas Bank is situated within the University campus to cater to the banking needs of the students and staff.
The Indian Overseas Bank, Padur Branch was inaugurated on 28 December 2012 in the new building inside the Hindustan University Campus by Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Pro Chancellor, Hindustan University in the presence of Mr. A.D.M. Chavali, Executive Director, Indian Overseas Bank and Mr. K. Parthasarathy, Chief Regional Manager, Indian Overseas Bank.

Mr. K. Parthasarathy welcomed the gathering. The main objective of having it inside the campus is to cater the needs of banking service to the staff and students of the university. It provides assistance in opening savings account and depositing institute-related fees and dues since its inception in the campus. The bank had earlier installed an ATM besides the main gate of the University.

Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese in his inaugural address appreciated the Indian Overseas Bank for their continued support to Hindustan University for the cause of higher education.

Mr. A.D.M. Chavali, Executive Director, Indian Overseas Bank thanked Hindustan University for maintaining a long and trusted relationship with Indian Overseas Bank. He appeals to the treasured customers to extend their patronage and support for the growth and development of the Indian Overseas Bank, Padur Branch. He added that Branch now in the new building will serve the public as well as the academic community in the University.
