On the dynamic morning of 4 November 2023, the MGR auditorium at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) resonated with enthusiasm and expectation as the first-year understudies of BBA and SOL showcased their exceptional abilities amid the much-anticipated "EMERGENCE ‘23” occasion. Chief Guest, Dr. Ravi Margasahayam, Space Great Will Ambassador NASA.

In his compelling address, Dr. Ravi Margasahayam emphasized the importance of failures and to see all that as successful failures, gave an illustration of that he couldn't gotten to be a pilot but he sent numerous to space. He said to continuously carry aptitude, intelligence, and Knowledge along your life. He also remembered his interaction with APJ Abdul Kalam. Communicated his adore towards family. The event started with a sincere prayer by Rev. Justin Jose, who is the Student Chaplain, followed by "Tamizh Thai Vaazhthu". Dr. Karuppasamy Ramanathan, Dean of School of Management, gave a friendly welcome to the new students. He talked about the chances and international experiences they can have at HITS. He thought about his time in college and how his parents and teachers supported him. He thanked the Students Affairs department for organizing all the college events. He asked the students to be modest while they are studying. Ms. Beena James, Head Student Affairs i/c, presented the introduction of the Chief Guest.

The freshmen showcased their talents through dance, music, ramp walk, and singing. Emergence’23 came to a magnificent close, leaving everyone in awe. The air was filled with a sense of patriotism as the Indian National Anthem echoed through the venue, stirring the souls of all those present. This powerful rendition not only brought a feeling of unity but also instilled a deep sense of pride among the attendees.
